About Speaker :
Ms Lee is a registered patent, trademark and industrial design agent in Malaysia. She is a partner of Global IP Southeast Asia (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (GIP ASEAN – MALAYSIA) and is currently overseeing the operation of Global IP Southeast Asia Pte Ltd (GIP ASEAN), a member of United GIPs that is based in Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Hons) degree with a major in Biomechanics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. In her practice, she handles IP portfolios for multinational and local corporations. Her professional activities involve all aspects of IP prosecution including drafting patents, conducting prior art searches, responding to office actions, managing local and foreign IP applications, as well as performing freedom to operate analysis and providing strategies and advice on IP related matters. She is an experienced and active IP seminar trainer for MNCs, SMEs and universities.
Ms. Lee Jia Ee is a registered Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design Agent in Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Hons) degree with a major in Biomechanics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her expertise lies in the areas of mechanical engineering, information technology, biomedical engineering etc. She is experienced in handling IP portfolios for MNCs and SMEs. Her professional activities involve all aspects of patent prosecution, including drafting patents, conducting prior art searches, performing freedom to operate analysis, responding to office actions, managing local and foreign patent applications and providing strategies and advice on IP related matters.
